About The Dinner Devils

There is something quite intimate about sharing food with people. Their walls come down and real connections are formed.

The Dinner Devils is a group of social members who visit medium to high-end restaurants around Vancouver.

The Dinner Devils is loosely based on The Brunch Club. In fact, it was at a brunch in January 2018 that the idea of taking the concept and adapting it to a dinner group came about. At that fateful brunch we came up with the concept, the name and Alistair was nominated as the organizer.

By the end of that weekend, Alistair had created the group and within a week there were already 100 members. Some members have come and gone, while the majority have remained and become regular devils.

What is the format?

We meet three times a week and aim to have small groups of 6-8 people per table.

The Dinner Devils meet up on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with some occasional ventures into the other days of the week to spice things up.

We visit a number of restaurants that specialize in shared plates, allowing us to dine family style. We also visit establishments that have set menus, and the more traditional a la carte. The description of each dinner will outline if there is a group or special menu, or if it’s family style.

The restaurants we visit are a combination of established Vancouver favourites as well as new venues. The majority of the recommendations come from our members. The only limitations are that we try to avoid chains and we don’t frequent restaurants that don’t take reservations.
