What a great little find – Vancouver’s only Moroccan restaurant, complete with imported tiles and fabrics from Morocco. The food was extremely tasty and in full Moroccan splendor – multiple layers of flavours and spices (the Lamb Tagine had 30 different spices) and plenty of meat and dried fruit dishes (which I love). Even the cocktails we had (aptly named Dreams of Marrakech) were alive with spices – tangerine juice, coriander syrup and cinnamon bitters. Would I go back? Yes, definitely! (But I hope they extend and liven up their dessert menu before I go back!)
